Responsibilities
Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute civil litigation cases.
Conduct legal research and gather evidence for lawsuits, ensuring all relevant facts are considered in legal decisions.
Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Advise clients on business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
