Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr

Description:

Our client is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trust and Estates Attorney to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Advise clients about their estate planning and drafting wills and trusts and related estate planning documents
• Review and revise estate plans to ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws
• Prepare and review state and federal estate tax returns, gift tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns
• Advise families and trustees in the settlement of estates and the ongoing administration of lifetime and testamentary trusts
• Communicate with clients and family members regarding the management and operation of family and closely-held businesses

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York
• 5 years plus of relevant work experience
