The ideal candidate leads complex tax strategies, business succession planning, and asset protection for high-net-worth families, supported by a seasoned team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of estate planning, tax, and/or business planning experience.
- Board certification or eligibility in Estate Planning and Probate Law.
- J.D. and active Texas Law License.
- Partial book of business or established referral network.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic advising for high-net-worth clients on wealth transfer, charitable giving, and asset-protection strategies.
- Architect complex plans drafting irrevocable trusts, gift planning, and tax-efficient structures.
- Drive firm growth through collaboration with partners on business development and strategy.
- Mentor and manage trust and estate administration while supporting the team.

Grace Estate Law, a boutique estate law practice now located in the scenic Hall Park of Frisco, Texas, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our thriving, woman-owned law firm. We are not your father's estate planning practice. We’ve built a reputation for providing legal services with "Grace", competence, integrity, and modern technology. Now, we are looking for a confident estate planning attorney to play a pivotal role in our next chapter of growth.
- Modern Workspace: We’ve traded file rooms for efficient technology so you can focus on the law, not the clutter. We use cloud-based client file management systems so you can access your files from anywhere.
- True Work-Life Harmony: We don’t just talk about balance; we structure for it. You’ll have the administrative and marketing support needed to hit your goals without sacrificing your personal time. Clients know our hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm, and that we work from home on Fridays. Our office is now located in Hall Park, Frisco, Texas, complete with scenic walking trails, a nearby park, gym facilities, and fine dining within walking distance.
- Enterprising Spirit: This isn't just a "job." You will manage and grow client relationships with the full backing of our established brand and resources. We have deep roots in the local estate planning and probate community. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the services we offer our current network and the additional services they need.
- Sophisticated Practice: This role goes beyond basic wills. You will lead complex tax strategies, business succession planning, and asset protection for high-net-worth families. You will also have the backing and support of a team of attorneys with extensive probate and guardianship litigation experience.
- Competitive Base: $150,000 – $175,000+ (plus performance-based incentives for your book of business).

- Architect Complex Plans: Draft and oversee the implementation of complex irrevocable trusts, gift planning, and tax-efficient structures.
- Drive Firm Growth: Collaborate directly with the firm’s partners on business development initiatives and operational strategy.
- Mentor & Manage: Oversee trust and estate administration while fostering a supportive environment for our collaborative team.
- Exercise Emotional Intelligence (EQ): With data commoditized, your ability to manage client anxiety, read a room, and negotiate questions from savvy clients who can program Claude AI to read your trust is your actual superpower.
- Experience: 8+ years in estate planning, tax, and/or business planning, with a deep comfort in complex irrevocable trust work. You have board certification or meet the criteria for board certification in Estate Planning and Probate Law due to your extensive experience.
- Credentials: J.D. and active Texas Law License (additional jurisdictions are a plus).
- The "Book": You bring a partial book of business or an established referral network and are ready to scale it with better support.
- Mindset: You are a self-starter who thrives in a small-firm setting and values transparent, empathetic communication.
