Duties

• Manage a caseload of first-party property insurance defense files from start to finish.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in high-stakes situations.
• Stay informed on case law and industry trends in Florida insurance litigation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense or related fields.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience in litigation and case management, including depositions and hearings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented with a passion for client advocacy.

Education
