A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential, and a desire to be a “great” trial attorney is a must!

We are looking for an attorney who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting discovery, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions of fact, and examination of witnesses at trial.

This position will get trial experience on an endless variety of cases, front-line opportunities, and direct client contact.

Must be admitted to Bar in a state where the firm practices law.

Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills
  • A law degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
  • Must be an active member, in good standing, in the State Bar of Washington, or any other State Bar that the firm practices law.
  • Ideally, one year of civil litigation experience/jury trial experience, preferably in insurance defense practice.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with tact and diplomacy.
  • Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, and clients.
  • Ability to support multiple complex cases and adapt to changing priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with proper professionalism.
  • Fluent in all necessary technology; primarily Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Acrobat, among others.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake new tasks outside of prior experience with enthusiasm and confidence.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and flexible with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Superior decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in a paperless environment.
  • Able to communicate complex legal issues with ease and confidence.
  • Experience working with a variety of professionals and personalities across the business organization.
  • Desire to create real-world impact and be willing to push the envelope in strategizing how to win challenging cases.
Compensation Package
  • Competitive base pay
  • Participation in wellness program – dental, medical, vision
  • Participation in company-sponsored retirement plan
  • Generous paid time off – vacation, sick and 10 company paid holidays
