FAMILY LAW ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Position Overview
Our client, an established and growing Phoenix-area law firm, is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to manage cases and work directly with clients throughout the litigation process.
This is a strong opportunity for an attorney with 1–3 years of family law experience who is ready to take ownership of cases involving divorce, custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and related matters.
The firm offers a growing caseload, hands‑on litigation experience, and significant earning potential for a motivated attorney.
What You'll Do
- Manage family law cases from initial intake through resolution.
- Handle divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and related family law matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case updates.
- Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process.
- Manage court deadlines, case documentation, and an active caseload.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
What You'll Bring
- Active Arizona Bar license in good standing required.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 1–3 years of family law experience preferred.
- Experience managing cases and communicating directly with clients.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Confidence working independently while collaborating with a legal team.
- Motivated, professional, and results-oriented approach.

- Divorce and marital dissolution matters.
- Child custody and parenting-time disputes.
