Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our litigation team for an active caseload in Florida. The role involves handling discovery, depositions, hearings, and negotiations with strong emphasis on client communication and case preparation.

Requirements include a J.D. from an accredited law school, active Florida Bar membership, and at least 3 years of insurance defense experience with excellent research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with depositions, hearings, motions, and mediations.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney litigation experience to join our litigation team.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active insurance defense litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend and argue hearings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and legal correspondence.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Prepare cases for trial and maintain client communications.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and minimal day-to-day mentoring.
• Ability to manage cases and work independently.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership.
• Minimum 3 years of insurance defense experience.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, motion practice, and mediations.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
