The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of litigation experience, including a minimum of 2 years in real estate law. Responsibilities include representing clients in various legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, and managing cases effectively.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.

• Strong experience in drafting motions to dismiss and summary judgment motions.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

We handle a broad range of complex real estate and foreclosure litigation matters, from title and encroachment disputes to breach of contract, fraud, and wrongful foreclosure actions. Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including mediations, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and appellate briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex real estate and foreclosure issues.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, maintaining deadlines and compliance with court rules.
• Counsel and communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy, risk, and outcomes.
• Senior Attorney oversees and mentor junior attorneys and paralegals as needed.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar license in good standing.
• Associate: Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.
• Minimum 2 years of real estate law experience required.
• Real estate transaction experience is a plus.
• Strong experience in drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, writs, and appeals.
• Proven success in depositions, mediations, and courtroom advocacy.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to manage a full litigation caseload independently.
• Law Review, clerkship, or appellate experience preferred but not required.
