Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic litigation team, focusing on medical malpractice cases. This role involves supporting high-stakes cases from discovery through trial, conducting depositions, and contributing to client advocacy in a collaborative, client-centered environment. Ideal for a motivated attorney passionate about justice in healthcare-related disputes.

Base Pay Range

$125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses for medical malpractice litigation.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, including deposing expert witnesses, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Interview clients and witnesses to build strong case narratives and gather evidence.
• Manage case files, ensure compliance with court deadlines, and support appeals if needed.
• Assist in client communications, providing updates and counseling on case progress.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility to apply).
• 1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a preference for medical malpractice (plaintiff or defense side).
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and evidence rules.
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
