Responsibilities

• Prepare effective demands, conduct depositions and discovery, and participate in mediations and motions.
• Perform legal research and prepare briefs, motions, and case documents.
• Resolve liens and subrogation interests after settlements or trials.
• Represent serious personal injury and wrongful death victims and families.

Job Description:

Established, high-level, and rapidly growing plaintiffs’ personal injury firm based in McKinney is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong desire to represent serious personal injury and wrongful death victims and their families. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, an understanding of the pre-suit and litigation process, and strong advocacy skills with personal injury trial experience. Ideal candidates will possess experience with preparing effective demands, conducting depositions and other discovery, mediations, legal research and preparing motions/briefs, and resolving cases including resolving lienholders/subrogation interests after settlement/trial. We have the most experienced team of lawyers in Collin County to effectively train you how to be an effective personal injury trial lawyer. We will also consider recent law school graduates who demonstrate a strong desire to help injury victims and try cases.

Compensation and Benefits are extremely competitive. Compensation, especially bonuses, tends to increase very significantly for successful attorneys starting in year 2 as they begin successfully closing cases.
