Responsibilities

• Manage civil and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.

• Handle professional liability, UIM/UM, life, health, and disability matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Develop discovery strategies and conduct depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage multiple matters independently.

About the Opportunity:

A leading national law firm is seeking Civil & Commercial Litigation Attorneys to join its Nevada team. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with experience in insurance coverage, extra-contractual litigation, and complex civil litigation.

Attorneys will have the opportunity to handle sophisticated matters while working directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage civil and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle insurance coverage and extra-contractual matters.
• Work on first-party and third-party property & casualty matters.
• Handle professional liability, UIM/UM, life, health, and disability matters.
• Assist with bad faith litigation and related disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Develop discovery strategies and conduct depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and provide strong legal analysis.
• Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Manage multiple matters independently.

Qualifications:

• 4–7+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience.
• 4+ years of experience strongly encouraged.
• Experience with professional liability, UIM/UM, life, health/disability, or bad faith matters is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and litigation skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines.
• Active Nevada Bar license and admission required.
