Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP in Irvine, CA seeks an Associate Attorney to join our civil litigation team. You'll draft and argue motions, take depositions, and represent clients in trials, with direct access to firm partners.

We support flexible work arrangements—onsite, remote, or hybrid—so you can work where you are most productive. CA Bar admission and 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience are required; construction or casualty experience is a plus.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, motivated Associate Attorney to join our Irvine, California litigation team. You'll be a core part of how we serve our clients — handling substantive work from day one, with real responsibility and direct access to firm partners. This isn't a seat-warmer position. You'll draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation, and provide strategic counsel that actually moves the needle.

What We're Looking For

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience (you've done this before and enjoyed it)
• A track record of drafting and arguing motions that hold up in court
• Confidence navigating the California court system
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations
• Excellent written and verbal communication — you make complex things clear
• Strong analytical instincts and the judgment to use them
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team
• Active member of the California State Bar

The base salary range starts at $100,000–$150,000, and for the right candidate, compensation scales beyond that based on your qualifications and expertise.
