Job summary

VOYlegal, partnering with an AmLaw 100 firm, seeks a senior Labor & Employment attorney with Montana bar admission to join its Denver office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer who handles sophisticated counseling and litigation for management on a national platform.

You will advise management-side clients on a wide range of workplace issues, including compliance, investigations, wage and hour matters, leave and accommodation issues, restrictive covenants,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Labor & Employment experience.
• Significant experience advising employers on day-to-day workplace and compliance matters.
• Employment litigation experience, including independently managing substantial portions of cases.
• Comfortable managing matters from initial strategy through discovery, depositions, motion practice, and resolution.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment attorney who enjoys a mix of sophisticated labor & employment counseling and litigation work and is ready to take on meaningful responsibility within a national platform.

The Role

The attorney will advise management-side clients on a wide range of workplace issues, including employment compliance, employee relations, internal investigations, wage and hour matters, leave and accommodation issues, workforce changes, restrictive covenants, and employment agreements and policies. The practice also includes representing employers in employment disputes before courts, arbitrators, and government agencies.

Ideal Background

• 7+ years of Labor & Employment experience


• Significant experience advising employers on day-to-day workplace and compliance matters


• Employment litigation experience, including independently managing substantial portions of cases


• Comfortable managing matters from initial strategy through discovery, depositions, motion practice, and resolution


• Admission in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, or Washington, D.C
