The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, litigate in California courts, and provide counsel on property management matters.

Duties

• Litigate unlawful detainer actions, lease disputes, and other real estate matters from inception through trial in California courts.
• Handle matters related to rent control, affordable housing compliance, and fair housing regulations.
• Conduct legal research, draft lease violation notices, pleadings, motions, discovery, and pre‑trial documents.
• Advise clients during phone consultations and written communications, providing strategic and solution‑oriented guidance.
• Respond promptly to client concerns to maintain and grow strong business relationships.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar.
• Excellent oral advocacy, legal research, and writing skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work with clients and colleagues from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications
