Overview
Firm Advice is conducting a search for a litigation attorney for its boutique litigation firm with multiple offices in the Washington, DC metro area. The role offers opportunities to practice in bankruptcy, litigation, and/or transactional mortgage default work. It is a full‑time, hybrid position that requires 2–3 days per week on site during the first 60 days.
Base Pay Range
$90,000.00/yr – $162,000.00/yr
Location
Rockville, MD (Metro accessible) and Washington, DC (Metro accessible)
Responsibilities
- Analyze legal issues and review strategies for assigned matters with supervisor.
- Handle federal and state caseload in accordance with firm and client direction and court timeline requirements.
- Ensure timely updates to client systems and firm’s case management system.
- Research and analyze precedent and draft client documents and court filings.
- Review and analyze real estate law and real estate title cases and ability to handle substantive real estate and title litigation matters.
- Perform quality control review of documents and staff deliverables.
Qualifications
- JD and member in good standing of the MD bar (DC bar membership a plus).
- 1 to 5+ years’ experience, with litigation experience during law school counting; experience representing banks or mortgage servicers, or general real estate or litigation experience preferred. Recently licensed attorneys with relevant background are encouraged to apply.
- Organized and detail‑oriented, with strong oral and written communication skills, able to multitask and work well individually and as part of a team.
