Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Defense Practice Group in Austin, TX. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office onboarding and progressive flexibility.

You will manage cases under partner mentorship, draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, appear in court, and defend trucking, premises, product liability, and other general liability matters while collaborating with top trial lawyers.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• At least 3 years of experience defending civil litigation matters.
• Experience handling trucking/transportation, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort/asbestos, or general liability defense matters.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, motion practice, and discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and managing key litigation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Segal McCambridge, a nationally recognized litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our General Liability Defense Practice Group in our Austin, Texas office. This practice includes a broad range of complex civil defense matters, including trucking and transportation, premises liability, product liability, construction litigation, and other general liability matters.

This is an outstanding opportunity for attorneys seeking substantial litigation responsibility, hands-on case management experience, and the opportunity to work closely with highly respected trial lawyers in a collaborative and mentorship-driven environment.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule. Attorneys should expect increased in-office collaboration during the onboarding and development period, with additional flexibility available as they progress within the firm.

What You’ll Do

As an associate at Segal McCambridge, you’ll have the opportunity to:
