Job summary

Faropoint Investments Team is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Associate, Asset Management to cover our Northeast Region from the Philadelphia Office. The ideal candidate would have 3-6 years of Asset/Property Management experience, looking to expand their knowledge and experience to Real Estate Private Equity.

You will manage capital projects, leases, budgets, and due diligence for acquisitions, while coordinating with regional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Asset/Property Manager experience in industrial/commercial real estate.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel.
• Ability to interact with decision makers professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
• High learning agility with multi-priority management in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Help manage capital projects from bidding, contract setup, through execution and invoicing.
• Schedule routine maintenance and coordinate technicians and construction timelines.
• Prepare and code invoices; assist accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist lease administration, tenant contacts, insurance tracking, collections, inspections.
• Assist in market analysis, negotiations, and leasing processes.
• Lead workflows for transaction analysis and due diligence on acquisitions and onboarding.
• Assist in appraisals and budgets, including rentals, cash flows, and capital work.

Job Summary

The Faropoint Investments Team is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious and motivated Associate, Asset Management to cover our Northeast Region from the Philadelphia Office. The ideal candidate would have 3-6 years of Asset/Property Management experience, looking to expand their knowledge and experience to Real Estate Private Equity.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and administer capital projects, from bidding and contract setup, through execution and invoicing
• Maintain properties by scheduling ongoing routine maintenance. Coordinate maintenance technicians and construction management schedules. Prepare and coordinate bid proposals, service contracts, and invoices. Assist in scheduling tenants’ maintenance requests.
• Prepare and code invoices for PM/AM approval. Manage and assist in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist in lease administration such as maintaining tenant contacts, tracking insurance, collections, and tracking property inspections.
• Assist in the leasing process, including market analysis, comparative analysis, and negotiations.
• Lead workflows conducting transaction analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions and onboarding new properties.
• Assist on all aspects of industrial real estate appraisals and operational budgets, including rental rates, discounted cash flows, and capital work.

Required Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Asset/Property Manager in the industrial/commercial real estate industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
• High learning agility with an ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Self-starter who independently drives projects to completion by self-sourcing information and leveraging all available resources.
• Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
• Knowledge of finance concepts including an understanding of financial statements.
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest order required.

Compensation:

This position offers a base salary in the $80,000-$125,000 range, plus discretionary bonus, competitive healthcare benefits, unlimited PTO, and a 401k match.
