Job Title: Associate Artist, Game Capture, Marketing Creative - Activision Requisition ID: R028241
Job Description: Your Mission As an Associate Artist, Game Capture, you will create high-quality gameplay capture and visual assets for Activision's marketing initiatives, including trailers, cinematics, gameplay features, social media, and other marketing needs. You will learn and apply the in-game tools, development systems, and capture workflows used to create these assets while building the creative and technical judgment to contribute confidently across a range of projects. Within this role, you will independently execute assigned gameplay capture sequences and direct contained scenes with limited oversight. You will partner with a Capture Lead or Manager on complex, narrative, stylized, or long-form work, contributing to shot planning, scene development, and execution. Success means making sound creative and technical decisions, solving problems quickly, and delivering work that is visually strong, on-brand, and production-ready. At Activision, "Capture Director" is a project role, not a job title. In this role, you will use the in-game tools, development systems, and capture workflows used to create unique marketing assets, with access and capabilities similar to those used by game developers at our studios. This role is based in our Los Angeles (Pen Factory) office and follows an onsite work schedule of Monday through Thursday. Work arrangements may change at the company's discretion to meet business needs. We are looking for unique creative voices from varied backgrounds to help our work truly stand out.
