As the Associate Applications Engineer – Mechanical you will assist with the integration of power generation equipment in customer projects by supporting design, documentation, and verification activities. This role collaborates with internal teams and vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards and provides technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist with the design and development of walk-in enclosures, housing, and system requirements for generator sets, KPP, BESS, and related systems. Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of RFIs, and review C/D&E documents to ensure client expectations and project documentation are met. Assist in verifying manufacturing drawings, P&I diagrams, schematics, and data sheets for compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Research and analyze requirements from engineering standards, contracts, and proposals; review and compare customer specifications against MTU designs and vendor proposals. Support the preparation and finalization of equipment specifications, collaborate with internal teams for component procurement, and coordinate with vendors for production release.
