Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an Associate Application Developer to collaborate with clients in designing and developing customized systems using best practice technologies and tools. You will translate requirements into scalable software with a focus on AI-enabled solutions and cloud platforms, working across frontend and backend layers.

The role involves working in an Agile environment, leveraging Copilot/AI assistants to enhance productivity, and contributing to high-quality, secure software

Qualifications

• Demonstrated programming proficiency in at least one listed language and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exposure to web application development concepts for front-end and/or back-end.
• Familiarity with generative AI modeling, ethics, and methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable products and interfaces across the full system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specs for generative AI projects.
• Apply IBM Design Thinking to deliver high-performance, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
• Work with relational databases and modern UI frameworks to implement and deliver viable products.
• Translate requirements into design, code, and data structures to meet client needs.
