Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of software development, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and application architectures.
• Exposure to application development or cloud technologies through coursework, internships, projects, or personal learning.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Curiosity about Artificial Intelligence, cloud platforms, automation, and emerging technologies.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Associate Application Developer at IBM, you'll help organizations transform how they serve customers, improve operations, and accelerate digital innovation through modern applications and cloud technologies.

No two projects are exactly alike. You could support healthcare, financial services, public sector, federal sector, automotive, energy, retail, industrial, or manufacturing clients. You'll gain hands-on project experience, professional and technical mentoring, career coaching, industry- recognized certifications, and exposure to emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and automation.
