Foresight Strategy in Minneapolis, MN seeks an Associate Analyst Consultant to guide global leaders toward data-driven marketing decisions. You will sift through diverse data sources, build complex models, and craft compelling stories to inform executive discussions.

The ideal candidate has a statistics/business analytics background, 2+ years of practical experience with Excel, and a talent for turning insights into clear PowerPoint presentations; a Master’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business/Data Analytics, or other related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of non-academic experience applied to business problems in consulting, marketing, or brand management using Excel and statistics.
• Proficient in Excel advanced formulas ( Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, OFFSET, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF ).
• Experience creating data visualizations and presenting insights (PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participating in internal brainstorm and design custom approaches to client questions
• Managing and transforming large datasets including public data, third party market research, and internal client data
• Applying statistical tests, analytic methods, and strategic frameworks to the data to uncover insights
• Creating compelling visualizations that illustrate your findings
• Communicating the overall story in well-crafted PowerPoint presentations
• Presenting components of insights to clients as needed
• Additional duties as dictated by team needs (small company)

What You Will Be Doing:

We are recruiting an Associate Analyst Consultant to join our team in our Minneapolis, MN location. In this role, you will be guiding business leaders around the globe toward better marketing decisions through data-driven strategy, sifting through a wide variety of data sources to uncover hidden insights, and craft compelling stories and design complex models and custom applications to facilitate discussions at the highest levels of global businesses. Your work will allow you to grow your analytical and business capabilities with on-the-job training in knowledge areas most relevant to today’s market.

Ideally a Candidate Possesses:

· Undergraduate Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business/Data Analytics, or other related discipline.Master’s Degree preferred

· 2+years of non-academic experience applied to business problems (preferably in a consulting, marketing, or brand management context using excel and statistics)

· Demonstrated experience with manipulating data in Excel using advanced formulas/functions (e.g. Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUP, OFFSET, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF, etc.)

· Familiarity with statistical techniques (correlation, regression, etc.) in Excel or another package.
