Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an Associate Application Developer to help clients shape hybrid cloud and AI journeys. You will translate requirements into designs, build customized systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will work across architectures, focusing on front-end and back-end development, leveraging AI tools, and applying Design Thinking to ensure security, performance, and user experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more listed programming languages and IT coursework.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exposure to web app development concepts (front-end and/or back-end).
• Familiarity with generative AI modeling, ethics, and methodologies.
• Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud).
• Exposure to JSON objects and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to co-create solutions using best-practice technologies.
• Define technical specifications for generative AI projects with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and support high-quality, scalable products and interfaces.
