Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Aeronautical or Engineer Aeronautical to join the Test & Evaluation Engineering directorate. The role supports design, development, and testing of aerospace systems across several California and Maryland locations, as well as Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM degree
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) and Program Special Access may be required to start.
• For Associate Engineer Aeronautical (T01): Bachelor’s degree by Aug 2027 in STEM; for Engineer Aeronautical (T02): Master’s or Bachelor + 2 years in Aeronautical engineering by Aug 2027; must be able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test aerospace systems and equipment including test devices.
• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of test activities for safe and efficient operations.
• Analyze test data, resolve anomalies, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM field by August 2027

Master’s degree or Bachelor's with 2 years of Aeronautical engineering experience by August 2027

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
