Job summary

The Associate Actuary – A&H Pricing, North America at AIG is a senior actuarial role located in the US. You will lead A&H pricing initiatives, provide technical pricing guidance, performance measurement, and financial reporting while aligning with regulatory standards and corporate goals.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Actuarial Science or related field, ASA/ACAS preferred, 4+ years of actuarial experience, and strong skills in Excel, Python, PowerPoint; knowledge of R or data visualization a

Qualifications

• BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area.
• ASA / ACAS designation preferred.
• At least 4+ years of actuarial experience, A&H pricing experience preferred.
• Advanced experience with Excel, Python, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge with R and/or other data visualization software a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive product innovation by collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.
• Assess and provide risk mitigation solutions to ensure alignment with corporate goals and regulatory standards.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership, influencing budget, product design, portfolio management, and business segments.
• Mentor a team of actuaries and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and actuarial best practices.
• Independently and effectively engage with various internal and external stakeholders.
