Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an Associate Accountant - Plant to handle liquid and gas settlements for producer payments on assigned systems using TIPS. You will generate invoices, review AR aging, and process journal entries to support gross margin reporting.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, knowledge of midstream accounting, and strong teamwork and communication skills. This is a full-time position based in Dallas, TX with regular office duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of midstream accounting and related software is desirable.
• Strong teamwork, detail orientation, organizational skills and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Calculate liquid and gas settlements for generation of producer payments on assigned systems through TIPS.
• Generate sales invoices and track payments; monthly review of accounts receivable aging for assets.
• Process monthly journal entries and prepare detailed monthly gross margin reports.
• Track monthly imbalances by validating measurement vs scheduled volumes and third party statements.
• Process and distribute settlement statements, imbalance statements, and operator statements.
• Assist customers with settlement related questions.
• Maintain and update company changes in TIPS; calculate truck settlements and margins.
