Associate Account Executive - Executive Benefits

Lockton is seeking an exceptionally organized, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to join its growing National Executive Benefits Practice. This individual will play a critical role in supporting client service, RFP activity, annual reviews, recurring outreach, executive-level deliverables, and the ongoing administration of specialized Executive Benefits programs.

Your Responsibilities
Associate Account Executive - Executive Benefits

Lockton is seeking an exceptionally organized, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to join its growing National Executive Benefits Practice. This individual will play a critical role in supporting client service, RFP activity, annual reviews, recurring outreach, executive-level deliverables, and the ongoing administration of specialized Executive Benefits programs.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a significant amount of information at once, enjoys creating structure, and consistently follows through on work to completion. This person will be an excellent writer and listener, demonstrate sound judgment and common sense, and be willing to dig into unfamiliar or complex issues rather than waiting for detailed direction.

Key responsibilities would include:
  • Support RFP and carrier marketing initiatives, including gathering information, preparing submissions, coordinating responses, tracking deadlines, organizing results, and assisting with analysis.
  • Analyze the RFP and carrier responses, identify meaningful differences, and contribute to developing thoughtful recommendations.
  • Produce executive-level presentations, summaries, reports, and other client-facing deliverables with increasing independence.
  • Coordinate and manage annual client reviews, including gathering information, preparing materials, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Manage recurring client outreach and follow-up, including reviewing and responding to questions generated from monthly communications.
  • Process add, termination, and other participant or policy-related requests, maintaining accurate records and tracking each request through completion.
  • Maintain organized project plans, open-item lists, and documentation to ensure commitments are completed, and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Draft, review, edit, and refine client communications, executive summaries, reports, presentations, and other practice materials.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, carriers, senior leaders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization, efficiency, consistency, and scalability across recurring processes and client deliverables.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to step into other responsibilities when volumes are high or team priorities shift.
Qualifications
The strongest candidate would be:
  • Exceptionally organized and able to manage a substantial volume of information at one time.
  • Highly dependable, with exceptional follow-through and the ability to close loops without repeated reminders.
  • Strong in AI development and utilization, Excel, written communication, editing, and PowerPoint preparation.
  • Analytical, curious, technically capable, and eager to learn the Executive Benefits business.
  • An excellent listener who asks thoughtful questions and applies feedback.
  • Someone with sound judgment and common sense who is not afraid to dig into an issue.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and willing to step in where needed.
  • Interested in technology, automation, AI, and process improvement.
  • Demonstrate high Fact Finder and high to very high Follow Thru instincts - naturally digging into details, creating structure, managing complex information, and consistently tracking responsibilities through completion.
  • Life & Health Insurance License is not required but may be obtained during employment as part of training and development.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
