Qualifications

• Master's degree with two years' experience working with students in an academic capacity or Bachelor's degree with four years' experience with college students.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group academic advising to undergraduate Chemical Engineering students.
• Monitor degree progress and assist with planning, registration, and policy navigation.
• Develop advising materials and resources and connect students with campus resources.
• Administer department-level undergraduate research awards, scholarships, and prizes including nomination and selection processes.
• Coordinate tutoring and grader programs, and supervise peer advisors and FIG program logistics.
• Support planning and execution of undergraduate student programs and events (orientation, commencement, Explore UT, Parents' Weekend, poster competition).
• Prepare statistical reports and respond to data requests; monitor graduation rates and degree completion timelines.
