At Blackhawk Network, we're transforming the global branded payments ecosystem. Our platforms connect brands, partners, and consumers across 100+ countries, powering digital and physical solutions that enrich everyday experiences.

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Core Services – Onboarding pillar. The impact of your work is direct: faster time-to-revenue, lower operational effort, and improved visibility into a single BHN client view.

If you're eager to grow your product management career, enjoy collaborating across business and technology teams, and are passionate about solving problems and removing friction from complex ecosystems, this role is for you.

This is a hybrid role in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of BHN's unified onboarding and governance platform roadmap, focused on scalability, automation, and reducing time-to-launch.
  • Analyze complex business workflows and identify opportunities to simplify onboarding, improve operational efficiency, and enhance partner experience across content and distribution.

  • Use data and KPIs to identify pain points, measure product impact, prioritize enhancements, and continuously improve onboarding outcomes.
  • Partner with global stakeholders across North America, Europe, APAC, and LATAM to support product launches, adoption, and rollout of scalable platform capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • +2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, technology, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude; familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data models, or web technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Comfortable working with data, navigating ambiguity, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, proactive self-starter with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and drive results.
  • Passion for building products that improve operational efficiency, automation, and customer experience.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and an interest in applying them to solve real‑world business problems.
  • Interest or experience in fintech, payments, or enterprise platforms is a plus.

We seek candidates who not only demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in emerging technologies but have also successfully implemented and utilized AI tools to enhance their work, improve processes, or deliver measurable results.
