Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in market research, market analytics, competitive intelligence, or strategic planning within pharma/biotech.
• Fluency in IQVIA platforms (NPA SMART, LAAD Flexview) and other major data sources (IPSOS, Symphony Health, KOMODO).
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare market dynamics including payer landscape, HCP segmentation, market access, and specialty pharmaceutical channels.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~20%).

Responsibilities

• Drive usage of secondary data across market research, forecasting support, and competitive intelligence with emphasis on U.S. markets.
• Synthesize data from major providers into actionable market trends and strategic recommendations.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Market Access, and Forecasting teams to integrate market analytics into strategic plans and revenue modeling.
• Present strategic market analytics to executive leadership on market entry, product positioning, and competitive risk.
• Translate complex market data into clear, compelling narratives for audiences from senior executives to commercial teams.
• Build and maintain dashboards and datasets enabling self-service analytics and visibility into market performance and KPIs.

As Associate Director, Market Analytics, you will shape our insights agenda for upcoming launches in obesity and rare diseases (petrelintide, SBS, CHI). You will drive comprehensive market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform go-to-market strategy, launch execution, and long-range business planning across our portfolio. You will bring deep expertise in secondary market data analytics and U.S. market dynamics, and act as a strategic thought partner to commercial leadership.

Your profile

You are an experienced market analytics professional who thrives on ambiguity and brings analytical rigor and business acumen to fast-paced, dynamic environments. You are a strong communicator who can distill complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders, and you’re motivated to help shape strategy for upcoming launches.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Health Economics, or PhD) preferred
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in market research, market analytics, competitive intelligence, or strategic planning within pharma/biotech
• Demonstrated fluency in IQVIA platforms (NPA SMART, LAAD Flexview) and other major data sources (IPSOS, Symphony Health, KOMODO)
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare market dynamics, including payer landscape, HCP segmentation, market access, and specialty pharmaceutical channels
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is a plus
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 20%)
