Job summary

Unified Community Connections in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to provide AAC training and AT assessments to individuals with disabilities. The role requires travel across Central Maryland and flexible scheduling.

You will conduct assessments, set up training, and prepare reports while coordinating with a licensed speech-language pathologist. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must hold RESNA ATP certification or CSUN AT certificate.
• Willing to drive to multiple locations across Central Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Assistive Technology Assessments to identify suitable devices.
• Provide AT setup and training for access, cognition, and low vision.
• Deliver AAC training per plans developed by a licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Assist with troubleshooting AAC/AT tools.
• Prepare training materials and reports.
• Complete case management including scheduling and billing.
• Maintain training logs documenting client progress.
• Travel to Anne Arundel, Carroll, Frederick, Howard, Harford, Montgomery, Prince George's, Baltimore and Baltimore City with travel reimbursement.
