Work as a Generalist – Licensed Practical Nurse in the Adult Care Licensure Section involves regulatory activities to determine compliance with state requirements for assisted living facilities and overnight respite programs.
Position will be home-based in the Eastern Region of the state and applicants should reside in Nash, Wilson, Edgecombe, Wayne, Greene, Pitt, Craven, Martin, Bertie, Northampton, Hertford, Chowan or contiguous counties. This position works in the field conducting inspections. The position requires frequent travel, sometimes on short notice within these counties, including occasional overnight stays. Position may utilize a state vehicle if available, a rental vehicle or their personal vehicle for travel. Travel expenses, including food, lodging, and transportation, are compensated by the State of North Carolina at the NC Office of State Budget and Management’s established rates.
Salary Range: $55,221 - $96,639
Recruitment Range: $55,221 - $75,930
