Qualifications

• Medication aides/techs administer or assist with medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Must have completion of required training/certification as per state regulations.
• Advantage to have experience in assisted living or long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medication and related treatments.
• Observe, document, and report client responses to the supervisor.
• Keep medication supply room organized; assist with cart audits and accurate counts; coordinate with pharmacies.
