The Village at LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA is seeking passionate LPNs for an Assisted Living LPN Supervisor. We offer full-time or part-time roles with day, evening, or night shifts and pay ranging from $27 to $33 per hour based on experience and shift differentials.

Pool/PRN options provide $30/hour on weekdays and $32/hour on weekends. Benefits include medical/dental, tuition reimbursement, generous PTO, birthday day off, retirement plan with employer match, and more.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Must have CPR certification.
• No explicit degree required beyond high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as needed.
• Communicate with doctors and family members.
• Directly supervise employees, provide direction, and assign caregiving duties.
• Demonstrate awareness of residents' and families' needs.
• Provide daily assessment of at-risk residents to ensure health needs are met.
• Assist the Resident Care Director with medication administration per policy.
• Provide training and support to Resident Care Assistants on medication administration.
• QA at the direction of the Resident Care Director for MAR, storage, and supply of medication.
• Observe medication administration to ensure compliance.
• Establish and maintain relationships with PCPs and medical providers.
• Communicate changes in residents and medical needs with all departments.
• Assist with coverage in extreme situations.
• Ensure Medication Assistants and Resident Care Assistants are knowledgeable of policies.
• Assist with resident admission, transfer, and discharge as needed.

What will I do as an Assisted Living LPN Supervisor?

• Administer medications (when needed)
• Communicate with doctors and family members
• Directly supervise employees including provide direction, facilitate communication between shifts, and assign caregiving duties
• Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families
• Provide daily assessment of "at risk" residents to ensure health needs are being met
• Assist the Resident Care Director with ensuring that all medications are being administered per company and state policies
• Provide training and support to Resident Care Assistants to ensure that they are properly administering medications
• QA at the direction of the Resident Care Director of the MAR, storage, and supply of medication to ensure compliance
• Personally observe administration of medications to ensure compliance
• Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with PCP, specialists, and other medical providers
• Communicate with all departments about changes in residents and medical needs
• Provide assistance with coverage in extreme situations
• Assist with ensuring Medication Assistants and Resident Care Assistants are knowledgeable of current company and state policies pertinent to their jobs
• Assist with resident admission, transfer, and discharge as needed

What is required as an Assisted Living LPN Supervisor?

• A valid and current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Maintain CPR certification
