Job summary

An assisted living community in Danville, Virginia is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and ensure a high-quality appearance. The role involves cleaning common areas, resident rooms, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably some housekeeping experience. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to lift equipment and follow cleaning instructions.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers in common-use areas.
• Report anything broken, damaged, or burnt out to Maintenance Dept.
