Job summary

The Jasper of Mansfield, a premier retirement community in Mansfield, Texas, is seeking a friendly Culinary Service Assistant to serve residents in the dining room and assist with food preparation, maintaining high service standards. The role supports meal service, stocking, and clean-up while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Twelve (12) plus years of education, High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves residents and guests in a professional dining room setting.
• Assists in drink and food preparation and supports dining room setup and cleanup.
• Prepares and serves snacks; replenishes stock items in common areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards to meet governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the schedule of work activities to ensure efficient dining service.

Culinary Service Assistant Responsibilities Include

• Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.
• Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
• Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.
• Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assginments to assure effective food service.
