Job summary

Deer Creek Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents and their families. You will follow recipes, prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and ensure food safety and high quality presentation. Attention to dietary needs and teamwork are essential.

Minimum one year of cooking experience, including short order and quantity cooking, is required. Serv-Safe certification is preferred or will be obtained upon hire.

Maintains proper sanitation and safety procedures and high quality food preparation and presentation. Orders, receives, and rotates stock in conjunction with the Food Service Director. Reads and follows recipes to ensure consistency of the product. Prepares and serves food items for breakfast, lunch or dinner as assigned. Assists with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations. Is knowledgeable in food preparation techniques and presentation.
