Genesis HealthCare in Willistown Township, PA is seeking a part-time Certified Medical Aide (CMA) to join our assisted living community. You will administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse and help residents with daily care, ensuring safety and well-being.

You must complete a state-approved CMA course and be certified, with English proficiency, basic computer skills, and CE requirements.

Qualifications

• State-approved CMA or CMA course completed and current certification per state requirements.
• CNA program completion if required by state of employment.
• Must read/write/speak/understand English for safety and care.
• Basic computer knowledge or willingness to learn.
• 12 hours CE required to maintain certification.
• TST verification as per state law and company policy.

• Monitor vital signs and report observations to supervising nurse.

You will work under the direction of a licensed nurse, playing a vital role in ensuring our residents receive their medications and treatments safely and efficiently. You will be a key part of our residents’ daily well-being, contributing to a supportive and engaging atmosphere.

Position Highlights

• Administer routine and PRN medications as prescribed.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Technician or Certified Medicine Aide Course and current certification per state requirements.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program, if required by state of employment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and to respond to their medical and physical needs.
• Basic knowledge of computers or willingness to learn.
• Must attend a minimum of 12 hours continuing education programs provided by the assisted living center to maintain certification.
• Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.

Posted Salary Range

USD $16.50 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
