Job summary

St. John's Lutheran Community in Albert Lea, MN is seeking an Assisted Living Caregiver (Certified NA or Uncertified) for part-time shifts. You will assist residents with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, and meal support, while helping to manage medications under supervision.

The role promotes compassionate care within a nonprofit faith-based setting, offering PTO and paid training as part of the benefits. Shifts include early morning, afternoon, and overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience caring for elders is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision.
• Support residents in participating in daily activities and social events.

Expected hours: 11.5-15/week

Shift: 6:00am-12:30pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-7:00am

Being a Caregiver is a great experience to learn about healthcare and how to serve the elders that live at the Meadows Assisted Living. The relationships built while working are priceless. We will teach you the skills to be successful.

Some of the duties include daily living cares, housekeeping, light cooking, passing medication and assisting in fun daily activities that make life enjoyable for the tenants.
