Job summary

A local family entertainment venue in Delavan, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced individual to oversee the care of animals at their petting zoo. Responsibilities include supervising staff, feeding and caring for animals, and creating educational presentations. The ideal candidate has a hands-on background in animal care, leadership qualities, and a passion for animals. Housing can be provided if needed, and the position requires a six-day work schedule during the summer.

• Experienced in animal care with hands-on experience.
• Ability to lead a small team and keep accurate records.
• Must work a six-day week in summer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the care of animals in the petting zoo.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee the care of our animals.
• Provide guidance in animal care.
• Bottle feeding baby animals.

Experienced individual with knowledge of operating all aspects of feeding, caring, and purchasing animals for a small petting zoo. Supervision of staff and creating educational animal presentations to the general public. Design enclosures and housing for our furry creatures. "Jack of all trades", Equine and carpentry skills a plus. Animal Gardens Petting Zoo is part of The Dancing Horses Theatre, which, provides a 90-minute Equine performance. Providing entertainment for the entire family. Located on 40 acres in a beautiful summer resort located in Wisconsin near the Illinois border.
