Job summary

A leading youth soccer organization in Durham is seeking coaches to lead sessions for children aged 2-8. The role offers flexible scheduling, a positive environment, and opportunities for growth and advancement. Coaches are compensated based on the number of sessions coached. CPR certification and a valid driver's license are required. This position is perfect for those passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives through sports.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification to be completed upon hire.
• TB test to be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel to our partnering locations to lead Soccer Shots sessions.
• Implement the Soccer Shots curriculum, creating a safe and engaging environment for all soccer friends!
• Attend all mandatory pre-season meetings, held quarterly between our 8-week and 12-week seasons.
• Maintain company training equipment.

Soccer Shots is the best‑in‑class children’s soccer program with a focus on character development, for ages 2‑8. We also look to develop motor skills and teamwork through sports. Our goal is simple: leave a lasting, positive impact on every child (whom we refer to as friends) we serve. We want Soccer Shots to be the BEST 30‑45 minutes of each friend’s week.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
• Experience in early education development preferred, but not required
• Sports (soccer) experience preferred, but not required
• CPR and First Aid Certification (to be completed upon hire)
• TB test (to be completed upon hire)
• Completion of Recognizing Child Abuse & Neglect & Mandated Reporter training video (to be completed upon hire)
