Job summary

Ledyard High School is seeking an assistant girls' wrestling coach for the 2026-27 winter season. This position requires a Connecticut Coaching Permit, CPR/First Aid/AED and concussion training, and coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level in wrestling.

The successful candidate will follow CIAC guidelines, communicate effectively with student-athletes and parents, and possess strong knowledge of wrestling safety and coaching-related legal aspects.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Coaching Permit required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED and concussion training certificates required.
• Coaching experience at collegiate or high school level in wrestling.
• Ability to adhere to CIAC practice and competition guidelines.
• Strong communication with student-athletes and parents.
• Knowledge of wrestling and its safety considerations.
