Job summary

Waconia Public Schools in Minnesota is seeking an assistant wrestling coach to support both girls and boys programs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a respectful approach to students, with high school and/or college playing experience preferred.

Hours vary Monday–Friday during the wrestling season; compensation will follow the district's extracurricular salary schedule, starting at $4,771 to $6,001 depending on qualifications.

Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Compensation will be in accordance with the School District's extracurricular salary schedule starting at $4,771 to $6,001 depending upon qualifications.

Position Summary:

The assistant wrestling coach will assist the head coach with duties to support our girls and boys wrestling programs. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of students. High School and/or College playing experience is preferred.
