Job summary

Bethel School District seeks an assistant athletic coach to support the district's total athletic program. You will assist with coaching fundamentals, motivate student-athletes, and model behaviors outlined in the Coaches Handbook.

Required are strong coaching experience, knowledge of sports fundamentals, and the ability to lead and organize practices. Expect training on health and harassment policies; fingerprinting occurs for hires, and assistants must be 19+. Workplace is in Spanaway, WA.

Qualifications

• Must attend a training class on Hepatitis B, HIV vaccination if needed, and sexual harassment training.
• Fingerprinting for a background check will be conducted for those recommended for hire.
• Assistant coaches must be at least 19 years old.

• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
• Those recommended for hire must attend a training class on

• Those recommended for hire will be fingerprinted for a background check.

Assistant coaches must be 19 years of age.

• Class room teacher is preferred but, not required.
