Job summary

Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation seeks an Assistant Wrestling coach at Bosse High School for the 2026-2027 season. You will help develop an exemplary athletic program, ensure compliance with policies, and support student-athletes in their growth and education.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, collaborating with staff, communicating with families, and maintaining a safe environment for all athletes. Prior coaching experience is preferred.

• To ensure the timely and accurate completion of all required records and reports.
• To demonstrate proficiency in standard English, both spoken and written.
• To accept and fulfill responsibilities beyond the team setting as they pertain to school expectations.
• To assume responsibility for care of materials, equipment, and facilities.
• To ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment that supports the well-being of all student athletes.
• Interpersonal relations: foster positive interactions among student-athletes and build supportive relationships with school/community.
• Subject matter: exhibit knowledge of the sport and adapt instruction to student needs.
• Planning/materials: develop and sustain an organized athletic program with long-term planning.
• Clearly convey coaching expectations and monitor student progress.
