Archbishop Edward McCarthy High School located in Southwest Ranches, Florida (Broward County) is looking to hire a, passionate, qualified and experienced Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2025‑2026 season. This position is dedicated in empowering young athletes through sports and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of student‑athletes. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Part‑time with flexible hours, primarily after school and on weekends during the wrestling season (typically November to February).

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of the wrestling program, including practices, competitions, academic progress, study hall, and team events.
• Develop and implement effective training plans and strategies to help athletes improve their wrestling skills, physical fitness, and mental toughness.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to student‑athletes to help them reach their full potential both on and off the mat.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that celebrates diversity, promotes confidence, and empowers young athletes to excel in the sport of wrestling.
• Collaborate with the head coach and other members of the coaching staff to ensure alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the wrestling program.
