Job summary

Methuen Public School District is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for Methuen High School to support the program and student-athletes.

Prior coaching and/or wrestling experience is preferred; NFHS or MIAA certifications are a plus. The role emphasizes commitment to academic and athletic success of all student-athletes and fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The position provides the opportunity to work with dedicated staff in a welcoming district community.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience in wrestling preferred.
• Commitment to academics and athletics of student-athletes.
• NFHS or MIAA coaching certifications preferred.
• Experience working with high school athletes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with practice planning and game strategy.
• Conduct drills, supervise athletes during workouts and contests.
• Support student-athlete academic and athletic development and sportsmanship.
