SSF Imported Auto Parts, LLC is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to assist the Warehouse Manager with organizing the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods. The role ensures smooth daily operations and coverage in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

The position requires college-level education or equivalent experience, and a strong ability to lead teams, train staff, and maintain safety and policy adherence across the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Fully understand all warehouse procedures and policies.
• Keep Warehouse Manager informed of staff performance and status.
• Supervise staff and work consistent with SSF Employee Handbook, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a professional attitude with all SSF employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Set a good example for the team.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead diverse teams.
• Be certified to drive forklift, if applicable.
• Have a valid Driver’s License, with clean driving record, insurable by SSF under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize daily workflow to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure staff are trained on current policies and cross-trained.
• Perform administrative duties including meetings, updates, PTO approvals, and HR coordination.
• Support safety initiatives and conduct regular safety checks and meetings.
• Review monthly warehouse performance reports to identify issues.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to maintain peak operational capacity.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for working with the Warehouse Manager to provide outstanding customer service by organizing the receiving, storing, and sending out of goods. Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for the warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists in organizing and prioritizing the daily workflow of the departments to ensure work is completed and no department falls behind.


• Assists in making sure all personnel is trained on current policy and procedures for the job, ensuring that staff is cross-trained.


• Administrative functions such as daily staff meetings, update ADP, approve PTO, employee counseling sessions, interview and hire staff, and coordinate with HR.


• Safety functions such as ensuring warehouse equipment is working properly, walking the warehouse for any safety issues, hold monthly and quarterly safety meetings.


• Review monthly reports for your warehouse performance and to identify problem areas.


• Works with Warehouse Manager to ensure that operations are running at peak capacity.


• Other tasks as assigned.
