Job summary

Hauser Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Financial & Professional Risk to provide expert consulting and client service across Hauser’s client base in Cincinnati.

You will manage risk programs including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, Cyber, and Professional Liability while guiding junior staff and collaborating with insurers. The role emphasizes relationship development, strategic risk assessment, and effective carrier negotiations to deliver value for clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the Financial Lines Insurance industry (D&O, EPL, Cyber, etc).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service focus.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to travel up to 35%
• Greater Cincinnati area residents: hybrid schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional, value-added service and consultation.
• Manage assigned client book of business and fiduciary risk programs.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with insurers.
• Support Managing Director’s initiatives and drive M&A due diligence where applicable.
• Mentor and guide junior staff and oversee Risk Analysts.
• Technically manage FPR coverages for low to high complexity accounts.
• Coordinate with Hauser team, carriers, and clients to execute the Annual Service Plan.
• Prepare proposals and lead discussions with client leaders and advisors.
• Review policies, contracts, and safety materials to inform coverage changes.
