Job summary

The AVP will supervise staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance SUNY goals while ensuring efficient operation of the campus facilities.

Qualifications

• Seven years of high-level leadership/management experience in a unionized environment.
• Bachelor's or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Business, or Public Administration.
• Experience directing capital project initiatives and campus upkeep.
• Experience coordinating with College, County, and state agencies' budget processes.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of capital budgets and approvals.
• Provide oversight for campus construction from design to completion.
• Lead energy savings and sustainability programs.
• Maintain knowledge of laws, codes, regulations affecting facilities.
• Serve on the senior leadership team and committees.
